I used to use CrunchBang Linux as my daily driver six or seven years ago and loved it, but BunsenLabs just doesn't have the same feel for some reason.

I wanted to try BunsenLabs, but couldn't get it to install at first, and when I finally managed to install it, it didn't boot properly. I think it might be a problem with my laptop's DVD drive, but that's the only way I can install it and since it doesn't fit on an ordinary CD, I just had to give it up. I'm using Windows 7 on my machine at home, downgraded from Windows 10. Maybe I should just make my own fork of #!.

    • I know at least one release didn't work properly when installed from USB because it assumed it was on a DVD. You had to manually change the source for the installation files. That didn't seem to be the case this time.
